We are immensely grateful to our ambassadors—past and present—for their dedication, enthusiasm, and contributions. From spreading awareness about open scholarship to creating valuable resources for the research community, your efforts have left a lasting impact. As part of our ongoing efforts to refine community engagement, the COS Ambassador Program will officially sunset on **February 19, 2025**. While this chapter comes to a close, we’re excited to offer new ways for you to stay involved and continue contributing to the mission of open science. ## What Ambassadors Do ![Connect](https://www.cos.io/hubfs/Icons/2023/icon-shake.png "Connect") ### Connect Grow the open science community through collaboration and information sharing ![Dialog](https://www.cos.io/hubfs/Icons/2023/icon-community.png "Dialog") ### Dialog Share perspectives on the COS blog and join the online conversation about open science ![Train](https://www.cos.io/hubfs/Icons/2023/icon-support.png "Train") ### Train Help provide training for the OSF and other tools that support reproducible practices ![Represent](https://www.cos.io/hubfs/Icons/2023/icon-badge.png "Represent") ### Represent Partner with COS to promote open science practices at meetings and conferences ### **Honoring Ambassador Contributions** We want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible achievements of our ambassadors: - **Resources Developed: **Ambassadors have created guides, presentations, and outreach materials that have helped researchers worldwide adopt open science practices. - **Community Building:** Through workshops, webinars, and one-on-one connections, ambassadors have built a global network of open science advocates. - **Platform Insights: **Your feedback has been invaluable in improving the Open Science Framework (OSF) and COS services. The legacy of the ambassador program lives on in these contributions, and we are honored to recognize the lasting impact of your work. ### **New Ways to Stay Involved** As we transition from the ambassador program, we invite all current and former ambassadors—and anyone passionate about open science—to participate in one or more of these new engagement opportunities:   **Quarterly COS Newsletter ** Stay informed with the latest updates on open science topics, new OSF features, and COS initiatives. This optional newsletter includes invitations to events, working groups, and other opportunities to engage with the open scholarship community. - **Time commitment: **None required, up to 10 minutes per quarter (optional). - [Opt in here](http://eepurl.com/djUE3v) **OSF Technology Advocates** Join this group to help shape the future of the OSF.
