Over the years, the COS Ambassador Program has played a vital role in advancing open science. We are immensely grateful to our ambassadors—past and present—for their dedication, enthusiasm, and contributions. From spreading awareness about open scholarship to creating valuable resources for the research community, your efforts have left a lasting impact.
As part of our ongoing efforts to refine community engagement, the COS Ambassador Program will officially sunset on February 19, 2025. While this chapter comes to a close, we’re excited to offer new ways for you to stay involved and continue contributing to the mission of open science.
Grow the open science community through collaboration and information sharing

Help provide training for the OSF and other tools that support reproducible practices
Partner with COS to promote open science practices at meetings and conferences
We want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible achievements of our ambassadors:
The legacy of the ambassador program lives on in these contributions, and we are honored to recognize the lasting impact of your work.
OSF Technology Advocates
Join this group to help shape the future of the OSF. As a Technology Advocate, you’ll participate in beta testing, surveys, and feedback on new features and initiatives.
This transition isn’t the end—it’s the beginning of more flexible, focused opportunities to connect with COS and contribute to open scholarship. Whether you’re an ambassador alumni or new to our community, these paths allow you to tailor your involvement to your interests and availability.
If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact us at support@osf.io.
