Charlottesville, VA - The Center for Open Science (COS), with the support of NASA, is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the Year of Open Science (YOS) Culminating Conference, scheduled to take place online on March 21 and 22, 2024.There is no cost to attend.
The YOS Culminating Conference aims to showcase the achievements, coalition-building efforts, and ongoing initiatives stemming from the 2023 Year of Open Science. This event is designed to facilitate the exchange of experiences, ideas, and expertise among key stakeholders, including U.S. federal agencies, funders, international policy makers, universities, and research institutions.
“We are looking forward to highlighting the many achievements borne out of the Year of Open Science and to connecting key stakeholders to one another, especially as we plan for a collaborative future wherein policies, incentive structures, research infrastructure, and research communities work effectively together to bolster research transparency and rigor,” said Lisa Cuevas Shaw, COS’s Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director.
